5. POPCORN PIZZA | Challenged by QUINN
Somehow it works, were not sure why but it does. Here us out because this popcorn pizza surprised us too. It started as a bit of a joke, but when we get challenged to make a popcorn pizza you better believe were gonna make it.
A buttery and cheesy combo that satisfies with a fun poppy addition of the popcorn. Golden mozzarella with salted popcorn in butter on a pizza. Best movie marathon food choice ever.
4. SPICY BROCCOLI PIZZA | Challenged by KYLE
Tangy to the max with just enough heat and the fresh bitter pop of some tiny diced onions. This spicy mustard broccoli pizza is an interesting combo. A homemade spicy mustard made with yellow mustard, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauce. But just a little warning, a bit of this sauce can go a long way so don’t over due it unless you’re obsessed with mustard, then you do you.
Mustard pizza isn’t and won’t be the weirdest thing we make but it’s pretty darn weird. Who would’ve thought broccoli and mustard would work together. Somethings I guess you gotta try before you deny. And why not give it a shot, a vegetarian pizza option that is full of flavour, will you dare try it?
3. REGINA PIZZA | Challenged by DOREE
What?! Baked round but cut square, who came up with such an idea? At first I was like,”but then how do you hold the middle pieces if they aint got no crust?” But any Regina style pizza lover knows it doesn’t matter, no crust, no problem. In my opinion it actually makes those crustless pieces that much better, completely maxed out with toppings, you find a way to get it into your mouth.
Speaking of maxed out with toppings, I’ve yet to have a pizza so stacked with meat that left me wanting so much more. So this is how you do it, and the order Ive been told is very important so after you roll out the dough you add: tomato sauce, thinly sliced mushrooms, meat, meat and more meat (you want a couple inches thick of meat) green peppers, onions, pineapple, and as much mozza as you can fit on top (we used about 3 cups). “The crustless pieces are mine! All mine I say”!
2. HOLY TRINITY CAJUN CHICKEN PIZZA | Challenged by AMBER
HOLY CHICKEN! For some reason holy chicken just doesn’t sound nearly as cool as holy cow. But that doesn’t even matter right now, because this Holy Trinity Cajun Chicken Pizza is kickin’ butts all over town! Big bold flavours and a decent amount of heat, not to mention the classic slightly burnt chicken but its OK cause it’s cajun flare.
The best part of this pizza has to be the amazing mix of flavour not only from the heavily spiced chicken but the all mighty holy trinity. Green pepper, celery and onions sautéed until the smell has filled the house and you just cant take it anymore… and you know the only thing left to do is get a slice of this miraculous Holy Trinity Cajun Chicken Pizza.
1. POPCORN SHRIMP PIZZA | Challenged by QUINN
Down where it’s better, this Popcorn Shrimp Pizza comes straight out of a fairy tale. Delicious panko breaded shrimp baked to a crispy delight. On a base of classic tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese these little shrimps deliver in a big way.
Not everyones a fan of seafood on a pizza, I hear that, especially heating it up in the work microwave, not cool. But forget work for a minute and let’s talk shrimp. Not only are these tasty little shrimp awesome but to lighten things up a bit added some fresh chopped parsley for another layer of flavour.
