Whether you’re with me or not, we can both agree that not much can make mac n’ cheese better, other than more cheese and clearly hot dogs, a very underrated secret weapon known only of the true mac n’ cheese connoisseur.

Hot Dog Macaroni and Cheese Pizza

Ingredients

TOPPINGS

  • 4 Hot dogs
  • 2 cups Macaroni and cheese instructions below*
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese sauce instructions below*

WILD DOUGH

  • 2 cups Sourdough starter active
  • 1 cup Bread flour
  • 1 tsp Salt

Cheddar Cheese Sauce*

  • 4 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Cream
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper

Macaroni and Cheese* (MAKES EXTRA)

  • 4 cups Cheddar cheese sauce
  • 2 cups Macaroni noodles

Instructions

Wild Dough (1 hour)

  • Make your dough by mixing the sourdough starter, flour and salt together (adding a bit of flour at a time until it takes shape but is still a little sticky) and knead the dough for about 30 seconds.
  • Place the dough in lightly floured bowl and cover with a towel, set aside for 1 hour. (The pizza steel or stone needs to preheat for 1 hour as well, so preheat oven to 550 degrees after you finish making your pizza dough)

Cheddar Cheese Sauce*

  • Grate cheddar cheese.
  • Heat large pot to medium and melt butter, whisking constantly. Add flour and whisk 30 seconds. Add cream and whisk to mix well, then add cheddar cheese, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat and let cool. Reserve 1 cup of cheese sauce for the pizza sauce. Use remaining cheese sauce for macaroni and cheese.

Macaroni and Cheese*

  • Bring water to a boil in a large pot, then add noodles. Bring to a boil and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain. Add remaining cheese sauce and mix well. Reserve 2 cups of mac n chee.

PIZZA (8-10 minutes)

  • Grate mozzarella. Cut hot dogs into thin rounds.
  • Preheat oven to 550 degrees F. with baking steel or pizza stone inside the oven for 1 hour.
  • Flour surface and roll out the dough. Put a floured pizza peel underneath the dough. Add sauce, cheese, mac n chee and hot dogs. Pat down the toppings before putting into the oven.
  • Bake pizza in the oven at 550 degrees F. for 8-10 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes then slice it up!

Chicken alfredo sauce works so well as a pizza sauce it’s ridiculous. Fresh parsley really lightens up the joint, but don’t let the green fool ya, its one of the more comforting pizza we have made.

As usual we got handfuls of melty mozzarella cheese on this pie. Sliced pieces of pan-seared chicken, coated in even more of this rich creamy alfredo sauce makes this pizza do die for… or kill. I mean if you’re gonna whack a guy for some pizza this is the one!

WILD PIZZA DOUGH

  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 clove Garlic chopped
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Parsley fresh
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper

Instructions

WILD PIZZA DOUGH (1 hour)

  • Make your dough by mixing the sourdough starter, bread flour (adding a bit of flour at a time until it takes shape but is still a little sticky) and salt together. Knead the dough for 30 seconds, flour lightly as needed.
  • Place the wild dough in a lightly floured bowl and cover with a towel, set aside for 1 hour. (The pizza steel or stone needs to preheat for 1 hour as well, so preheat oven to 550 degrees F° after you finish making your pizza dough).

CHICKEN ALFREDO

  • Chop garlic, set aside. Chop parsley, set aside.
  • Melt butter in large sauce pan on low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Add garlic and parmesan cheese and mix well. Turn off heat and add parsley, whisk until smooth.
  • Set aside 1 cup of alfredo sauce and leave remaining sauce in the saucepan covered with a lid.
  • Slice chicken. Heat cast iron pan to medium heat, then add oil and chicken. Cook for 10-15 minutes (or until no longer pink inside) stirring often. When chicken is cooked, add a 1/4 cup of water to deglaze the pan, using a wooden spoon to scrape the bottom of the pan, getting all the tasty bits of seared chicken.
  • Remove chicken from pan and add to saucepan with remaining alfredo sauce. Mix well. Set aside 2 cups of chicken alfredo.

PIZZA

  • Preheat oven to 550 degrees F° with baking steel or pizza stone inside the oven for 1 hour.
  • Grate mozzarella cheese.
  • Flour surface and roll out the dough, flour lightly as needed. Put a floured pizza peel underneath the dough.
  • Add 1 cup alfredo sauce, then 2 cups mozzarella cheese, and then 2 cups chicken alfredo. Pat down the toppings before putting into the oven.
  • Bake pizza in the oven at 550° F. for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove pizza from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Slice it up!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today were keeping things legit, 2 legit actually, with this Thanksgiving Turkey Pizza Recipe! What are the most important parts of a Thanksgiving dinner you may be thinking? Well we got that covered, literally its covering the entire pizza.

Beautifully cooked turkey, a nice buttery vegetable medley, you better believe we got the stuffing; stovetop, and you can’t forget that turkey gravy, but wait that’s not all!…. it should go without saying but just incase it doesn’t, add some of that sweet, sweet cranberry sauce on top.   • 2-3 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper ground

VEGETABLE MEDLEY

  • 12 Green beans chopped
  • 8 Brussel sprouts quartered
  • 1 Carrot diced
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper

STOVETOP STUFFING

  • 1 box Stovetop stuffing
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Water

TURKEY GRAVY

  • 1 cup Turkey drippings
  • ¼ cup Water cold
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions

WILD PIZZA DOUGH (1 hour)

  • Make your dough by mixing the sourdough starter, bread flour (adding a bit of flour at a time until it takes shape but is still a little sticky) and salt together. Knead the dough for 30 seconds, flour lightly as needed.
  • Place the wild dough in a lightly floured bowl and cover with a towel, set aside for 1 hour. (The pizza steel or stone needs to preheat for 1 hour as well, so preheat oven to 550 degrees F° after you finish making your pizza dough).

TURKEY

  • Defrost and pat dry turkey. Remove giblets and neck. Butter up the bird, inside and out. Season with salt and pepper. Bake @ 350° F. 13 minute per pound (13 lb. turkey will take approx. 2 hr. 45min.). Remove from oven, ensure internal temperature is 165° F. and let rest covered 30-60 minutes.
  • Carefully remove turkey from pan and place on cutting board. Carve off a few pieces of breast meat, and remove pone of the turkey legs. Remove meat from turkey leg and chop with breast meat. Set aside 2 cups of chopped turkey.

VEGETABLE MEDLEY

  • Wash carrot, brussel sprouts and green beans. Peel carrot and dice. Remove ends from green beans and chop. Trim the bottoms of the brussel sprouts and quarter.
  • Add vegetables to a steamer, add 1 tbsp. water, cover with lid and microwave 3 minutes. Carefully remove steamer from microwave. Carefully remove lid and add butter, salt and pepper. Close lid a couple minutes to allow butter to melt, then remove lid and mix well. Reserve 1 cup of vegetable medley.

STOVETOP STUFFING

  • In large saucepan, heat 2 tbsp. of butter and 1 cup water to boil. Add stovetop stuffing mix and turn off heat. Cover for 5 minutes. Remove cover and fluff with a fork. Reserve 1/2 cup stuffing.

TURKEY GRAVY

  • In a large sauce pan, strain 1 cup turkey drippings from roasting pan. Turn on heat to medium and bring to a boil.
  • In a small bowl mix 1 tbsp. cornstarch with cold water. Mix well. Add to turkey drippings.
  • Reduce gravy on medium heat until desired consistency, remove from heat and let cool. Reserve 1/2 cup of turkey gravy.

PIZZA

  • Preheat oven to 550 degrees F° with baking steel or pizza stone inside the oven for 1 hour.
  • Grate mozzarella cheese.
  • Flour surface and roll out the dough, flour lightly as needed. Put a floured pizza peel underneath the dough.
  • Add gravy, mozzarella cheese, stuffing, vegetable medley and turkey. Pat down the toppings before putting into the oven.
  • Bake pizza in the oven at 550° F. for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove pizza from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Slice it up, then add 1 tbsp. of cranberry sauce to each slice.

  • Add Sauce, then 200 Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Pat down. Add 1 cup of cheese, and another 200 Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Pat down. Add another cup of cheese, and the final 100 Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Add the final 2 cups of mozzarella makeing sure to cover as many Cheetos as possible. If they're not covered in cheese they can burn a little bit. Pat down very well before moving, and be very careful.
  • Bake pizza in the oven at 420 degrees F° for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove pizza from oven with pizza peel and let cool for 5+ minutes.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe… with a twist

We have taken the classic Buffalo chicken pizza recipe to a new level, by adding all the right things Buffalo chicken pizza recipeto a plate of buffalo wings, minus those pesky bones. What Buffalo chicken pizza recipe would be complete with not only one dipping sauce. But two!  We decided to use ranch dressing as the base and we threw some blue cheese on it. Now this may have gone to far for some but that’s OK, we like to go the extra mile.

Not only does this Buffalo chicken pizza have ranch and blue cheese, but we thought we would need to add a little bit more to really make it official.  Normally you would get carrot sticks or celery with your Buffalo wings but we went rogue, we went pepperoncini’s! The clear winner and decided champ for this bad mamma jamma, who doesn’t some extra kick on their pizza! So kick some butt and grab a slice of this Buffalo chicken pub style special.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Ingredients

TOPPINGS

  • 2 cups Buffalo chicken instructions below*
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese grated
  • ¾ cup Ranch dressing
  • cup Blue cheese
  • ¼ cup Pepperoncini sliced

WILD PIZZA DOUGH

  • 2 cups Sourdough Starter active
  • 1 cup Bread flour
  • 1 tsp Salt

Buffalo Chicken*

  • 5 Chicken thighs boneless
  • ½ cup Hot sauce
  • ¼ cup Butter melted
  • ½ tsp Garlic salt
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

WILD PIZZA DOUGH (1 hour)

  • Make your dough by mixing the sourdough starter, bread flour (adding a bit of flour at a time until it takes shape but is still a little sticky) and salt together. Knead the dough for 30 seconds, flour lightly as needed.
  • Place the wild dough in a lightly floured bowl and cover with a towel, set aside for 1 hour. (The pizza steel or stone needs to preheat for 1 hour as well, so preheat oven to 550 degrees F° after you finish making your pizza dough)

BUFFALO CHICKEN*

  • In a large bowl add hot sauce, melted butter and garlic salt, mix buffalo sauce.
  • Oil and season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Bake @ 420 degrees F° for 8 minutes each side, or until no longer pink inside. Remove from oven, and let chicken rest 5 minutes. Chop chicken and toss in the sauce.

PIZZA

  • Preheat oven to 550 degrees F° with baking steel or pizza stone inside the oven for 1 hour.
  • Grate mozzarella cheese. Crumble blue cheese.
  • Flour surface and roll out the dough, flour lightly as needed. Put a floured pizza peel underneath the dough. Add Sauce, then cheese, then remaining toppings (removing Buffalo chicken from bowl with slotted spoon). Pat down.
  • Bake pizza in the oven at 550 degrees F° for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove pizza from oven with pizza peel and let cool for 5+ minutes.

This is our very first official pizza challenge with many more to follow, brought to you by Weird Wild Hummus Pizza RecipePizza, and frantically made by Papa Za. Today the challenger is Michael! And the pizza challenge is a “Hummus Pizza Recipe”. If you have a pizza challenge, well, challenge us, what are you waiting for?! Let’s make some weird wild pizza together!

This Hummus Pizza starts out with a freshly made hummus base, topped with mozzarella cheese, sliced black olives and halved grape tomatoes. The hummus among us worked better than expected, if you are a fan of hummus this pizza is one you’ll wanna try. This may just be the beginning of a beautiful thing, how many other hummus pizzas can we come up with?

  • ¼ cup Tahini
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Paprika

Instructions

WILD PIZZA DOUGH (1 hour)

  • Make your dough by mixing the sourdough starter, bread flour* and salt together
    *adding a bit of flour at a time until it takes shape but is still a little sticky. Knead the dough for 30 seconds.
  • Place the wild dough in a lightly floured bowl and cover with a towel, set aside for 1 hour. (The pizza steel or stone needs to preheat for 1 hour as well, so preheat oven to 550 degrees F° after you finish making your pizza dough)

HUMMUS*

  • Add tahini and lemon juice to food processor and process for 1 minute. Add olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Process 30 seconds.
  • Open can of chickpeas, drain and rinse. Add half to food processor, process 2 minutes. Add remaining chickpeas and process 2 more minutes.

PIZZA

  • Preheat oven to 550 degrees F° with baking steel or pizza stone inside the oven for 1 hour.
  • Grate mozzarella cheese.
  • Flour surface and roll out the dough, flour lightly as needed. Put a floured pizza peel underneath the dough. Spread hummus on pizza dough. Add mozzarella cheese, then tomatoes and olives. Pat down toppings.
  • Bake pizza in the oven at 550 degrees F° for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove pizza from oven with pizza peel and let cool for 5+ minutes.
