PAPA ZA’S KITCHEN
One of the most iconic comfort foods in the world. Classic Mac and Cheese. I could stop right there and that would be enough of a description for the almighty yet so darn simple, macaroni and cheese. I can take a wild guess and assume nearly everyone had tried mac and chee before.
But I think if I don’t talk about not baking this recipe like many would advise, I couldn’t explain why we prefer non baked mac and cheese over baked mac and cheese. Not only is non baked mac and cheese creamier and cheesier, it’s also easier. Plus if you decide to put it on a pizza, then it will bake anyways for all you traditional baked mac and cheesers!

Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
- 4 cups Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups Macaroni noodles
- 2 cups Cream
- ¼ cup Butter
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- Grate cheddar cheese.
- Heat large pot to medium and melt butter, whisking constantly. Add flour and whisk 30 seconds. Add cream and whisk to mix well, then add cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and whisk until desired thickness.
- In a separate pot, bring about 5 cups of water to a boil, then add noodles (make sure there is enough water to cover the noodles completely) Bring to a boil and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain. Add cheese sauce and mix well.
