This Pulled Pork recipe stays true to the bold flavours of a classic pulled pork with the blessed convenience of the life changing Instapot. An aggressive spice rub makes this pork an unforgettable experience with a quick one-two to your face.

One, two, three servings you may want and with a pulled pork this size theres more than enough to go around. Delicious pieces of pork coated in your favourite BBQ sauce. Our personal favourite BBQ sauce is Sweet Baby Rays, can’t go wrong with the Boss of Sauce!

  • 5 lb Pork Butt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mustard ground
  • 1 tbsp Oregano dried
  • 1 tbsp Cumin ground
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Chile powder
  • ½ tbsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Black pepper


  • In a small bowl mix together mustard, oregano, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chile powder, salt and pepper.
  • Rub pork with spice mixture and cook for 1½ in an Instapot, on pressure cook setting.
  • Remove pork from Instapot and shred with two forks in a large mixing bowl. Add BBQ sauce and mix well.
