Chicken Alfredo Pizza Recipe

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

What this Chicken Alfredo lacks in noodles it makes up for in pizza. This Chicken Alfredo Pizza Recipe is so good you wont even miss the noodles. Chicken Alfredo sauce works so well as a pizza sauce it’s ridiculous. Fresh parsley really lightens up the joint, but don’t let the green fool ya, it’s one of the more comforting pizzas we have made.

As usual we got handfuls of melty mozzarella cheese on this pie. Sliced pieces of pan-seared chicken, coated in even more of this rich creamy Alfredo sauce makes this pizza to die for… or kill. I mean if you’re gonna whack a guy for some pizza this is the one!

"Our pizza is weird and our dough is wild, made from all-natural sourdough starter."

  • BAKING STEEL
  • CAST IRON PAN
  • PIZZA CUTTERS
  • PIZZA PEEL
  • ROLLING PIN

TOPPINGS

  • 2 cups Chicken alfredo (instructions below)
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (instructions below)

WILD PIZZA DOUGH

  • 2 cups Sourdough starter
  • 1 cup Bread flour
  • 1 tsp Salt

CHICKEN ALFREDO

  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 clove Garlic (chopped)
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Parsley (fresh)
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper

WILD PIZZA DOUGH (1 hour)

  1. Make your dough by mixing the sourdough starter, bread flour (adding a bit of flour at a time until it takes shape but is still a little sticky) and salt together. Knead the dough for 30 seconds, flour lightly as needed.

  2. Place the wild dough in a lightly floured bowl and cover with a towel, set aside for 1 hour. (The pizza steel or stone needs to preheat for 1 hour as well, so preheat oven to 550 degrees F° after you finish making your pizza dough).

CHICKEN ALFREDO

  1. Chop garlic, set aside. Chop parsley, set aside.

  2. Melt butter in large sauce pan on low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Add garlic and parmesan cheese and mix well. Turn off heat and add parsley, whisk until smooth.

  3. Set aside 1 cup of alfredo sauce and leave remaining sauce in the saucepan covered with a lid.

  4. Slice chicken. Heat cast iron pan to medium heat, then add oil and chicken. Cook for 10-15 minutes (or until no longer pink inside) stirring often. When chicken is cooked, add a 1/4 cup of water to deglaze the pan, using a wooden spoon to scrape the bottom of the pan, getting all the tasty bits of seared chicken.

  5. Remove chicken from pan and add to saucepan with remaining alfredo sauce. Mix well. Set aside 2 cups of chicken alfredo.

PIZZA

  1. Preheat oven to 550 degrees F° with baking steel or pizza stone inside the oven for 1 hour.

  2. Grate mozzarella cheese.

  3. Flour surface and roll out the dough, flour lightly as needed. Put a floured pizza peel underneath the dough.

  4. Add 1 cup alfredo sauce, then 2 cups mozzarella cheese, and then 2 cups chicken alfredo. Pat down the toppings before putting into the oven.

  5. Bake pizza in the oven at 550° F. for 8-10 minutes.

  6. Remove pizza from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Slice it up!

Chicken Fajita Pizza Recipe

Chicken Fajita Pizza

Chicken Fajita Pizza

Cast iron is the way to go with this Chicken Fajita Pizza. But don’t be afraid to use whatever pan you have, it’ll still be great. That said, if you got a cast iron pan at home, now is the time to use it. Because you get this beautiful sear that most other pans will not give, so treat yourself and your pan right and you get a little something extra special.

Pan seared onions and bell peppers with a heavily seasoned kick of some satisfying slices of chicken, fajita-style. Plus lots of smoky chili flavor with the love of a cast iron pan and that A1 sauce zing. It doesn’t hit much closer to home than this chicken fajita pizza does. OH YEAH!

7 layer dip pizza

7 Layer Dip Pizza

7 layer dip pizza

Just when you thought there was only one way to eat a 7 layer dip, the crazy people at Weird Wild Pizza have changed the dip game. We’ve brought you a 7 layer dip pizza recipe, why you ask, cause we’re tired of chips that break mid dip. And we came up with a solution, and a good one too. What layer is your favorite, or are you like us and need all 7 or else it just aint right.

We start this 7 layer dip pizza with the classic sourdough pizza crust, topped with refried beans, salsa, cheddar cheese and black olives, that’s it for now, first we must bake. After taking that beauty out of the oven, we add one dollop of sour cream per slice, for a total of 8. But of course that’s not all, we top the sour cream with guacamole, and finally sprinkle some chopped fresh green onions. This may be the best dip pizza you’ve ever had, and it’s the only one we’ve made so far. But if there’s one thing that’s for sure, we will make more. Just remember… no double dipping!

Reuben Pizza

Reuben Pizza

Reuben Pizza slice

The reuben sandwich is such a classic, we couldn’t help ourselves. And thankfully this reuben pizza turned out just as good as the meaty reuben sandwich you would find at your local delicatessen. Open faced reuben anyone! A homemade Russian dressing punches a pack and really ties this pizza sandwich together.

Layers of corned beef brisket, topped with the holiest of cheeses, Swiss, topped with some satisfying sauerkraut, followed by just a little more corned beef. But we diced up this layer of meat to get more crispy bits to crunch down on. What a delight this familiar beauty has to offer, grab a slice of deliciousness before someone else does.
